qualifications

I have 22 years of experience handling 61 snake species in 6 countries (United States, Costa Rica, Japan, Kosovo, Cyprus, & Australia) including 4 years of experience with venomous snakes, working with 4 organizations and my sole proprietorship to respond to over 65 snake calls in 2023 & 2024 and conduct educational presentations for families and parks. I have completed advanced venomous snake handling training with the most venomous snakes in the world in Queensland, Australia and completed the requirements for a Wildlife Controller License in Victoria. I have helped train 3 fire departments in safe handling of rattlesnakes and was invited to guest lecture on native snakes in a University of San Diego desert biology course in 2023. I am certified as a Master Herpetologist from the Amphibian Foundation (2026).

My academic background also makes me uniquely qualified to run an environmentally impactful venture. I have 11 years of experience in marketing and content creation to back up a bachelor's degree in Business (Marketing) from Rhodes College and a master's degree in Marketing Management  from Eastern Mediterranean University and 16 years of social impact and entrepreneurship experience supported by a master's degree in Social Innovation from the University of San Diego.

Walker Snake Wrangler's mission is conservation of snakes and human-snake safety through both direct action and, indirectly, the reduction of fear and hatred of snakes - which is fueled by widespread misinformation and lack of knowledge about them.

If we can learn to coexist peacefully with snakes without fear or hate,

what else can we learn to understand and respect?
